This project was interesting and challenging from a design and informationutilisation perspective, but is was working with this wonderful excited and engaging client that was the real standout for the team.
The brief included 1200m2 of restaurant, kitchen, function and entertainingspaces, 200m of stunning open foyer, 700m of tasting and sales area and 2500m of sub-terranean production area all in one main building with various other associate facilities.
The project was for a retired developer and his brother engaging in their lifelong passion for wine and starting their own winery. The new building complex was to replace an existing cluster of disjointed and tired buildings on an existing winery site, overlooking easterly vineyards.
